WTD: padded bib shorts

I'm doing a fun cycle on a borrowed racing bike and don't want to shell out top dollar for good quality shorts. So I'm looking for good quality previously owned shorts in good condition. I'm 6ft tall, 12 stone, 34 inch waist.

I am sure that I have a full set of Jersey and bib shorts in the original boards colours......courtesy of Raam on here.

Could easily pick up cheap New bibbed padded shorts on ebay or similar, would you wear another man's underwear? Not very hygienic.

Yes. I would and do wear other people's bib shorts. Loads of us do. Are you saying we're not hygienic? If I wear my bib shorts and wash them is that more hygienic than washing mine and selling them to someone else? Or do you have issues with your tackle touching the place where someone else's tackle touched?

I recently bought a pair of slightly used shorts on ebay, my wife took great exception to me wearing them until she had washed them first despite it being very clear they had been washed and were fresh and clean. She reckoned it could turn me 'ghey'
