The world’s biggest online auction service, Ebay, is urging users to change their passwords after one of its databases was hacked.

“Cyber-attackers compromised a small number of employee log-in credentials, allowing unauthorised access to eBay's corporate network,” said a company statement.

“The database, which was compromised between late February and early March, included eBay customers’ name, encrypted password, email address, physical address, phone number and date of birth. However, the database did not contain financial information or other confidential personal information.”

The online retailer said that it will be asking eBay users to change their passwords.

I'd be a prime target for these guys.
I never scrutinise my paypal too closely..

Although I do occasionally use eBay for legitimate "needing things" reasons...

The VAST majority of the things that I buy are when I'm drunk.. And generally I don't remember buying them the next day..

It's like getting midweek presents in the post from the 4am drunk Waz of last weekend..

Some weeks they're less useful that others though..
