Anyone remember "Blodwyn Pig"?

    Dug out some old LP's the other day. Two were by "Blodwyn Pig"( "Ahead Rings Out" & "Getting to This") and I am still as impressed with their music and playing and I was when I first bought the albums around 1970.

    Mick Abrahams the leader, was originally the guitarist in Jethro Tull, though he only featured on their first album. He went on to form BP. They were one of the seminal bands in the rock meets jazz genre. IMO they did not get the world wide acclaim that they deserved. Also, IMO as a guitarist Mick is well up there with the best of them, but unlike some aged rock guitarists from the past, he is relatively unknown. Thankfully to this day he is still playing.
