    Hi all,

    I'm hoping that someone can help me out with a query re. VAT.

    I supply electronic services to clients in Ireland, the EU and worldwide. I am currently under the VAT threshold but my accountant has recently mentioned that I should be VAT registered as such as I have EU clients. I cannot find anything to support this online.

    Given my current workload I was hoping to put off VAT registration as long as possible.

    Does anyone have experience with this?

    Many thanks!!

    I would suggest to start with the following links;

    http://www.revenue.ie/en/tax/vat/guide/supply-of-services.html
    http://www.revenue.ie/en/tax/vat/guide/intra-community-supplies.html

    That may give you some ideas what is involved and allows you to have a further discussion with your accountant.

    Cheers,
