Hey, so after many years of pain and discomfortiI have finally been ddiagnosed with a labral hip tear(having an MRA next week to confirm). I am just concerned having researched it that I'm in a lot more pain than I should be with it.the job I work in requires me to stand up from 9-6 each day so that could be aggrevating it!can anyone who has suffered with this shed some light on their experience with it as my doctors havent told me much!cheers

Hi there, came across this as I have also been diagnosed with a labral hip tear after 5 years of discomfort and misdiagnosis. Have you had your surgery at this stage or what? As regards pain, my hip is painful now while standing or walking, and at times when sitting or lying down. Also my quad is sore - feels almost like a dead leg most of the time. Is this normal? Can anyone else shed some light. Making appointment to see surgeon next week.
