RAM and maybe HDD Upgrade

So with the newer games supposedly using 6+GB of RAM, I think it's time to finally upgrade my RAM
I've currently got 4GB with made up of 2 2GB sticks (PC3-10600 MB/sec, DDR3-1333) and Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 SKT-AM3+ Motherboard (This one)

So planning on going up to 8GB and was looking for suggestions at a decent price.
Like would I just get 2 more 2GB sticks or replace what I have completely?

Also I'm in 2 minds about getting a SSD and saw this one today which looks like a decent price for it

I put on that ssd and its awesome. It makes a massive difference.

Good choice on the SSD as well. Best value on the market at the minute.

Now I see the Samsung 840 EVO 250GB at £89.99 so trying to decide between it and the Crucial

Already ordered the Crucial and install necessities(bracket, cable) at ~£84 but aince not shipped yet, trying to decide if worth cancelling for the Samsung at a few quid more.

Any suggestions or are they both pretty much the same?

I think the Samsung is slightly better but it probably wont be noticeable.

Go for the crucial and enjoy it.
