Is the house or apartment managed? Get on to the management company, if it's counsel ran, they would be a port of call. If it's privately owned and rented there is the PRTB, if he's an owner occupier - I'm not sure how you proceed but someone here will no doubt know.

I take it you've politely approached the person?

Sorry meant to say , we own our house & they own theirs not council houses or management ran, he's not approachable at this stage, just my hubby was told there may be a law to protect baby's and sleep etc, it's sad fair enough we no longer get on I don't want to do tit for tat either..just want to get on with things, this type of nonsense is childish.

Well there's the tort of nuisance but I'm sure there is a way to complaint to the local authority in some way. Perhaps have a google or search your local authority's website.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Is there anyway you can make peace with him? Appeal to his human side before going a formal route.

I know this may sound crazy but consider a small present of a bottle of wine a relative gave you and you don't drink white or red and offer it to him.
Best 10er you have never spent if that works. Nothing to loose

Try everything to make peace with that neighbour

We tried last year as we have kids the same age unfortunately their son can do no wrong, there was an incident recently & she wouldn't accept the child had done wrong not that we made an issue she's just paranoid so we thought it best to leave at that as in just come and go etc,
