Just an idea for a thread, if we could all throw our two cents in, no specific topic really just a few thought provoking questions,

    1. Why did ya start farming?
    2. When did you or when do you hope to take over the farm?
    3. What changes did you or do you hope to make?
    4. List the 3 top items of your bills? Have you tried to reduce any?
    5. Future opportunities do you see in farming?
    6. What position do you hope to leave farm in when retirement comes along!

    I'll start first,

    1. I get a buzz outta it.
    2. 2011 / 2012
    3. Converted sheds to make read good calving facilities, made yard bigger to import pig slurry, built concrete "runway" to import SMC. Land drainage and reseeds.
    4. Fertiliser, sprays and Meal,
    5. Beef. After reading the journal last week it confirmed what I've always been saying.
    6. To leave it better than I got it.
