Facebook - Tagging Photos of Myself & Timeline

    Hi

    A question about tagging photos of myself in old photos that I, myself uploaded.

    If I do this, will they appear in other people's newsfeed?
    Don't want to carpet-bomb my friends with pictures of me!

    The reason I'm doing this is because my 'photos of me' section is just random things and I want to put my pictures there.

    At work so can't check but I think you can change settings so your tags are hidden from your timeline and newsfeed.

    If they're hidden from your timeline, would they also be hidden from the Photos of You section on left hand side?

    I'm still confused though!

    It says this: "Keep in mind, photos and posts you hide from your Timeline are visible to the audience they're shared with other places on Facebook, such as in News Feed and search"
