Came across an election poster for a candidate from the Ballybofey area in Donegal and had to laugh at his election slogan....

"Don't vote for me if you want no change"

He's obviously going with the old reverse psychology angle in his campaign....god love him

There's an Independent running in my area whose slogan is the cringe-inducing "Frank, Fearless, Forthright". Terrible stuff.

Seen one in Newbridge the other day: "She's the business", can't remember what her name was but just remember it being the most ridiculous slogan id ever seen. Looks like it was mild compared to some here :o

This slogan was used by FF in 2002. I thought it was on the edge between being a great slogan and a terrible slogan. It came in handy for my college mates and I at the time though. The election campaign was around the time of our final exams. Whenever anyone in the class asked another class mate how they were fixed for X exam, we all used the "alot done, more to do" line!

There is a poster outside my estate that does my head in.. slogan is "Give a chance".
I have no idea what that is even supposed to mean.

Without Mayor Quimby, Our town would really stink. We wouldn't have a tyre yard, or a mid-size roller rink. We wouldn't have our gallows, or our shiny Big Foot traps. It's not the Mayor's fault that the Stadium collapsed!

Quimby! If you were running for Mayor, he'd vote for you!

Paid for by the Mayor Quimby For Mayor Mayoral Committee

Mayor Quimby supports revolving door prisons. Mayor Quimby even released Sideshow Bob, a man twice convicted of attempted murder. Can you trust a man like Mayor Quimby?

    Vote Sideshow Bob For Mayor!

Auld lad down in Ballyfermot running for councillor has home made signs (white cardboard, handwritten in black marker) and from his photo looks to be a relation of Ronnie Drew. His slogan is ''don't mope, get out and vote!''

Beats all the non-descript suit wearing, shít eating grin posters of everyone else by a country mile.If I could vote for him I would!

The Indian bloke in Palmerstown? What makes it genius is you automatically read it in Apu's accent.
