Hey guys just wondering if someone can help me shed some light onto what the average wage for a retail assistant manager.

I am applying for an assistant manager job with two and a half years experience in the specific field in which I'm applying. I also have four years retail prior to this two and a half years.

I have also experience in tasks normally left to a manager, such as orders, purchasing and merchandising.

I'm just suck as to what wage to ask for when they ask me "what is your expected salary"

    Could anyone help me?

If you are asked what salary do you want you need to say the following

I hope that you would take my previous work history into consideration and the fact that I have the following qualifications ( that are relevant to the job ie managing people course ect.

I would not mention money due to the following.
Most companies have a salary range - if you ask for above the range they won't consider you. If you mention a salary at the low end - great we have someone good and cheap.
Also you want to see what kind of money they are offering.

If they are willing to put money into a pension or pay towards health insurance ect take this into consideration also.
