Look up the VRT charges on the Revenue.ie website. As far as I know, you pay commercial rate of VRT regardless of cost of machine.

If you sell at a profit, you will be declaring so in your accounts, so any extra tax will be down to your Accountants advice.

200 to register it in ireland. you are meant to register it within a month of coming into the country . this is now done at the nct centre. you are meant to pay the vat here or in england or wherever you bought it , you will need receipts to prove when it was bought , when you brought it into the country .

You can sell it at any time you like then

Is there any handy way of claiming the vat back or not paying it
I am vat registered but as a tradesman -
Hard to get away with claiming a tractor when working as a plumber or electrician
