    Do tell, I haven't been a member since the late 1970s. :D

Yes indeed, read the notices of motion in Wings - what's happening there - all not well with BWI Management processes and structures ? I can understand the motions regarding governance issues and financial clarity in light of recent public funding of charities issues but what's up regarding the ECNR and the BWI Shop ??
Not wanting to get into a public debate here regarding what appears to be members dissent or dissatisfaction with management of BWI but obviously all not well there ! No disrespect to the proposers or seconders of the motions but there seems to be same names against a number of the motions and haven't come across most of them previously in birding circles ?
Although a member for many years now, not really interested in getting involved in AGM's or such but curious nonetheless about what's going on ?
The only issue I would have with BWI is that I wish they would reply to emails and become a bit more proactive in developing the branch network and supportive of same !

ECNR and other reserves are been badly run is the main problem.

They must be following the An Taisce model.

BWI often have poor turn outs at AGMs. If you have an interest in what is going on and are a paid up member, please consider attending; whether to find out what is going on or to express and opinion or vote on a motion. It is in everyone's interest, including BWI.
