Finished College, JSA/JSB?

I've searched around the forum but I can't seem to find an answer to this. I finished my last college exam last Thursday and have written to my university requesting a letter to say I am done for good. I have applied for several jobs this summer but have been turned down so I'm looking at JSA/JSB for the moment. I have two questions I'm hoping someone can help me out with:

    1) I have a graduate job starting in September, would this affect me getting state benefits between now and then in anyway?

    2) I would have earned and been taxed on around €12.5k in 2013 and €6.5k in 2012, does anyone know if I would have enough contributions to entitle me to JSB, or would it be JSA I would be looking at?

Fill in the form and see if you have enough stamps for JSB

OP just head on down to your SW office and apply for JSB/JSA. Its just one form does all really. Your local office will very quickly be able to tell you if you have enough stamps for JSB and if so how much you might be entitled to. They would advise you if you might be better off to go for JSA, but how much will depend on your age, if you are living at home, parents earnings etc. Head down first thing tomorrow bring that letter, proof of Id and proof of residence.
