    Hey

You know the emails employers send saying thank you for applying we will be in touch if you are suitable.

Would it be okay to reply to these emails ?

    Thanks

    It depends.

You might have a friendly person at the other end, or you might have a grump.

Personally I would not respond, or if I did, it would be a simple, thanks, hope to hear from you soon.

A lot of those emails would either be automated and not have a person on the other end, or would be from a generic mailbox that might not be monitored. If you want to contact them, the best idea is probably to try and find the contact details for whoever is responsible for hiring, or someone in their HR, and contact them directly.
