TV speakers

    Hello.

my parents need speakers for their tv. Its a 32" Normende tv with crap sound, and they are getting hard of hearing! Its located in a large room, so the sound is very tinny and inadequate for the space.

I want to get something simple and uncluttered - standing or a bar. Nothing attached to the wall.
I'm unsure how they hook up etc and quality v price.

Any suggestions would be great. I would consider 2nd hand.

it's all down to budget. There are some very good soundbars out there, very discreet and with excellent sound. check out trusted reviews, they did a piece on soundars by budget.

this looks at both sound systems and sounbars

Have a look at the q acoustics Q-TV2

I can't really comment on it as I have never seen it but it gets pretty good reviews
