He found it on the swords 2 Ashbourne road (R125) just before u get 2 the roundabout ( nine milestone) Dublin side of Ashbourne

We rang the Ashbourne Garda 2 see if any1 rang them

Ah yes, the good 'ol R1100/1150RT pannier hari-kiri..........damhik. Twice.

It might take a while for the guy to twig where he lost it, so hold on to it. He mightn't have missed it for ages.........

Post it up on FB or a few sites as well. BMW owners club would be good idea - or the dealers (there's only 3 ! - in case owner rings up to order a new one !!).

DoneDeal worth a punt as well.

I know here my first one got lost................in the grille of an oncoming Pajero........:eek:

Never did find the 2nd one...........

You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

    Hi Noel and Jeff

Thanks again for your very thoughtful work in getting me reunited with my wayward pannier!
It's the second time that box has jumped ship so I'm going to have to think of some clever way of keeping it on board!

Thanks also to an Ban Garda in Ashbourne station for doing the connecting calls today. Go raibh agat!

Best wishes and again a Big Thank You all!
    Frank

    One more thank you!
Theresa who spotted Noel's message on BOARDS.IE. BIG BIG THANKS! It was like synchronicity
that I happened to be in Tallaght, bumped into Theresa and got chatting about bikes. When I said I had lost my pannier Theresa told me about it being on BOARDS.IE a website I didn't even know existed!
Thanks again Theresa and your magic smart phone!
    Frank

Pfft. It is a well known fact that single women do not ride motorcycles.

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.
