don't leave your clubs in the car over night!

I had mine broken into last night and though I had lost nearly 2k worth of equipment  but lucky for me the would be thieves must have been disturbed and threw my clubs over a hedge a 100 yards down the road from my house so I only seem to be down a 8 iron and my trolley battery. Still going to cost me the best part of 200 quid. f**kers!!!!!!!!!

cheers lads, some good news, we found my electric trolley battery, so only the 8 iron missing now, more than likely chucked into the field as well but the grass is about 5 foot deep, but will have another look this evening after work.

I actually can't believe how lucky I've ended up being, if the scumbags had realized the value of the clubs, I'm sure I would never have seen anything of them again.

glad to hear you got most of your stuff back DWD.

FYI. if you pay golf insurance with your subs it covers theft from the boot of your car. they are also likely covered under your house insurance. i had a break in to boot of my car many years ago in town and was able to claim from house insurance

Sorry to hear your woes OP, I have all my gear covered 'all risks' under my home insurance, so covered anywhere on the island.
