    Hi All,

I am due to travel up from Dublin to Belfast by car during week. I know I could go by train and back but time wise its easier for me to drive.

question I have is, would I be able to park at Belfast central train station and if so what would cost be? translink is not helpful :(:(

    thanks

There are a couple of car parks in the city centre that are easily accessible, usually cost about £2 per hour, I use one just off Donegal Square.

Or you could do the park and ride on the bus from Sprucefield?

Is it your first time driving in Belfast?

Belfast has loads of cheap car parks in the city centre; google it and loads of options will come up for you.

Central Station is not the easiest place to get to, especially if you don't know the city centre traffic layout. Something else to consider rush hour traffic in the city is cack. This will add a considerable amount of time and stress to your drive so time wise so the Enterprise or a bus may make more sense that you think.

Yep especially in the morning, it regularly takes me more than an hour to drive the eight odd miles from Sprucefield to the city centre, so the park and ride/entreprise/bus may be a better option.

Also on top of what losty said, Belfast has about three main roads in and out of it, and they can be four/five/lanes on each side, and if you are not used to it, it's a nightmare to get around.

Not so much coming from Dublin, but the M2 is a nightmare.
