    HI,
Can anyone advise me on what the best brush is to use with the studio Mac Sculpt Spf15 foundation? I was looking at the 187 brush but my God it is expensive!! Or even if anyone can suggest somewhere cheaper than BTs to buy it?

I have the 187 and really don't like it for that foundation to be honest. I do love the brush, but not for that particular foundation.

Does it have to be a MAC brush? I have used real techniques brushes and find them much better for it to be honest. I've used their expert face brush, stippling brush, buffing brush and the small contour brush and really loved them, the contour brush and the buffing brush are my favorites.

The buffing and contour brushes are in this set

    Stippling brush

    Expert Face brush

www.iherb.com sell real techniques for a lot less than Boots, delivery take 2-3 weeks though.

Dublin airport have that MAC brush http://www.theloop.ie/p/11752/duo-fibre-face-brush-no187/129/823

Wow, thanks, they look really good. I can't justify spending €45 for 1 make-up brush in Mac. I'll try 1 of those ones :)

If you see it and yes it is hard to get but Gosh's foundation brush is an cracking purchase and at about €17, it's a good price as well. It's halfway between a stipple and a paddle brush, it's got a shorter handle which suits some people and it's good for working on curved parts of the face.

Eco Tool's foundation brush is cheaper again and it's not half bad to boot :)

The E.L.F. Studio Powder Brush is the best bargain foundation brush I have used!
There are absolutely tons of positive online reviews for it too.
I'm sorry, can't link you to one because I don't have 50 posts yet, but if you google it, you'll get it.
    It's £3.95. :)

I use it with all sorts, bb creams, heavy duty foundation (EL Double Wear), light oil in water type foundations and it gives a perfect finish. I don't like flat foundation brushes because I find they always give a mask-like finish but this is a stipple flat top type of brush. You can use it with dry powder foundations too, but I only use it for wet.

Is this the brush Bosley1421? http://eyeslipsface.co.uk/en/restofworld/brushes/powder-brush/invt/84003

I've had that brush and found it useless for everything, and it shed bristles like there was no tomorrow. I always seemed to have more bristles than foundation on my face after using it. It could just have been the brush I had though.

Cannot recommend real technics expert face brush enough. FLAWLESS finish, Everytime.
I don't buy MAC brushes anymore when there are brushes of equal (sometimes better) quality out there that are a fraction of the cost :)

I love the Expert Face Brush for liquid foundation but for Studio Sculpt I always always use my Real Techniques Stippling Brush. I've used other brushes but the Stippling Brush seems to give the best finish. I dot the foundation on my face & then blend with the brush. It's pretty similar to the MAC 187, I believe. :)

I use the Real Techniques stippling brush with Studio Sculpt. I did a bit of research when I started using Studio Sculpt and the overwhelming opinion was that a stippling brush is the way to go.

Blank canvas pink stippling brush I can guarantee you you won't be disappointed, it's amazing. Got mine online for about fourteen euro

    Yes it is!
What a pity, I love mine. I actually got really bad shedding with a Benefit brush which was €40 but never this one. I use an alcohol based cleaner rather than a soap one which may help.

I love Real Techniques and I thought the Expert Face Brush worked OK with Studio Sculpt, I haven't tried the Stippling Brush yet. Has anyone here ordered from the Real Techniques website? I want to get the Retractable Kabuki brush for my handbag and it doesn't seem to be on the Boots site. It's $10 on the RT site & shipping is very low, less than $5 for expedited shipping or less than $2 for 7-14 days. Has anyone bought anything from that site & if so what customs did you pay? Thanks.

http://www.dutycalculator.com/ lets you calculate roughly how much customs will charge if your package is checked by them.
