    Hi All

Over the last couple of weeks we seem to have developed a problem with ants. The little feckers seem to be everywhere down stairs :(

Are they harmful is my first concern ?

What would ye recommend is the best way to get rid of them?

    Thanks

    Barr

Don't know if you can get RAID or TERRO over there. Ants are a problem all over the place here and I can vouch for both these products. Best of luck with an irritating problem.

I've had fairly good results with the Nippon bait boxes from Woodies. There were some scurrying under my front door step but no sign of them since I left a bait box there for a week. They really do love the liquid poison, I've seen a dozen ants in the box so make sure you keep it topped up to feed their appetite.

I bought 2 things of bait for something like €3 in Tesco, only used 1 and no ants seen since.

Little plastic things that they crawl into, and bring the food (bait in this case) back to their nest.
