Claiming under legal expenses on house insurance

I am trying to figure out if our house insurance legal expenses cover will help with a case taken against my husband in the commercial high court. I can find the policy booklet but it isn't making much sense to me. Seems civil matters are covered but not sure if commercial high court is. Any one help. Summons arrived during the week and it's for a preliminary hearing in a fortnight.

What type of dispute are we talking about and why do you think your house insurance might cover it?

Most home insurance policies have cover for legal expenses our home insurance policy has this cover. . I have read the policy document and I can't make sense of it. It's case being taken again my husband by 2 individuals he was creating a new company with and they have screwed him and are now lookin to take ownership of all the work he has completed. They had the idea but he did all the work on the agreement he was to be part owner of the company. We have emails to prove all this .

DAS covers the legal expenses and Kennco is the insurance company

You have a separate policy for legal expenses? That's not what I read into your original post. Why are you looking to see if the household policy covers legal expenses (probably not) when you have a separate, specific policy for that purpose?

Kennco is the insurance company but as per the policy document DAS covers the legal expenses part of this policy.

how do you consider your home insurance would cover legal expenses related to a business dispute?

Unless it's specifically a business policy OR the policy recognises that you are running a business from your home and contains some extra cover relating to your business, it's extremely unlikely that it will cover any legal expenses arising from a case involving your husband's business.

They did know the office was run from our home and was covered. I guess I can check with them tomorrow.
