Beach Wedding... What to wear as a guest ?

I'm going to a wedding in Portugal.. the temperature will be about 28-30 degrees. I've never been to a beach wedding... What will i wear... I've asked the groom but he's no help.. I was thinking of a light ( with weight and colour ) suit of some type.. maybe not a jacket.. maybe a nice open shirt. Any ideas ? whats the…

I'd suggest a white linen shirt and light coloured slacks. I don't think you'll need a jacket in those temperatures, unless it'll be outdoors in the evening when it could get a bit cooler?
