Hello Calzada,

There are some groups on facebook centred around shannon (https://www.facebook.com/shannon.townforum), that might be of use to you.

Lots of social activities in Ireland seem to centre around the pubs, so check the Knights etc for any band you may find interesting coming up.

There is a meetup group in Limerick that you could join for similar activities. There are a few people for Shannon in the group
