straw adlib how much meal

    I have a few cows inside who ar due to calve in the next 6 weeks or so and I want to get rid of a few bales of straw. How much meal per day should I give

    The only meal I ever fed cows on the pop of calving was enough to convince them to eat the pre calving minerals. It would depend on the current body condition score but I'd still say not a huge amount.

    A little oats with minerals 2kgs adjusted,with body score

    Most important consideration is what's their condition like. If fat no meal if fit a kg of oats if in poor condition well you know that one
