Would I see the milage for a 3 year old car on motorcheck websites. As the car hasn't had an nct would there be a record of the cars milage. The car in question is in a big dealership so I guse all should be above board.

In the UK there would be a chance as the maintenance details would be shared. In Ireland there wouldn't be a chance.
If you are buying a young car you'd expect service history.

Even if the car in question had been through the NCT, private vehicle history check companies (Cartell, Motorcheck etc.) do not have access to the data.

The NCT cannot, and do not share odometer readings with these private companies due to The Data Protection Act - even if some of these companies may give the impression that they do.

Ironically, the only car you can get a comprehensive and reliable history check on is a UK car - yes the dreaded UK imports that certain vested interests have been telling us are all clocked/written off/finance outstanding etc. etc.
