Looking to buy a new monitor for my PC. The usual LED 1920x1080P monitor, but know nothing about them. Looking at this one, but don't know if it's good/bad/overkill. Current graphics card is GTX 760 SC. Also wondering does it come with DVI cables etc. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

I have one of these and find it very good. Argos sell them for €140. Very good budget panel.

I have an LG ips panel as well, very happy with it, stand was a bit flimsy us the only drawback. May have been corrected in later models like this

Any idea where I can buy it? Can't find it on the Argos website and not really interested in buying a refurbished one.
EDIT: Nevermind found one new on Amazon. But what's with the -P at the end? any difference?

Yeah, got a mounting arm at the same time, aside from anything else, you gain a load of desk space from not having the stand!

Can't live without my VESA mount. (Really, I hate using monitors without them now)

Hehe, it's like a giant 23" laptop in bed but without the microwaved balls! :D

that looks really uncomfortable, would you not get a sore neck and a fustrated hand after trying to type on your lap?

If the former, its quite the opposite. I've always hated the compromises of laptops. Small screen, Sh!tty sound, Testicle Toaster, Trackpads etc I had a sore neck when the screen was on a desk beside the bed. Now its right in front of me at eye height while sitting comfortable in bed propped up on pillows against the wall. Its easier to type on your lap with a keyboard instead of a top heavy laptop with attached screen.

If you meant the latter...It aint nicknamed the 'M**********n-Station' for nothin'. Look I even have a fan to evaporate away the sweat! ;)

    :D

No offence, but there are certain things I don't need to know about your life. Most of the above, for example.

    Edit:
    :o:mad::(:P:cool::eek::confused::pac::D;):rolleyes::rolleyes::eek::mad::)

    Did you forget the smilie?

    If not...

I usually hate people who say, "Lighten up, it was only a joke" but......

"Lighten up, it was only a joke" :P

I came up with the idea and built it because of the crick I was giving myself in the neck. I was lucky I built it when I did (ie. Physically able) because unbeknownst to me at the time I would end up pretty much bedridden due to a health issue for a significant proportion of 2013. Fan was for muggy Irish Summer nights when I couldn't leave the window open because our house is on a pedestrian route to/from the local Pubs. Serious enough answer?? :D

Opps, more information you didn't need about my life!

Jaysus, is even self deprecating humour frowned on in this forum?

I was only kidding. Probably did need some sort of smiley for clarification.

    Edit: Fixed. :)
(Thought strangely, probably not any clearer...)

With a smiley it would read like "Woah! Too much information Dude! :D " albeit more elegantly phrased.

Without a smiley...... it read like a serious, "Keep tales of your self pleasuring antics to yourself if you would be so kind!!" :D
