The second race at Navan looks a wide open affair. Chillie Billie was a recent winner for Robbie Downey fans at a massive price and a lot of of folks will have had their eye on Copperdock making a seasonal re-appearance over turf - but for me, there's one extremely well handicapped horse running here that should love the ground, the distance and is also in the capable hands of a trainer who has shown some decent form. Oor Jock is the horse that may represent some decent value to me. Horse has been steadily dropping down the ratings and looks very well treated here. Colin Keane has ridden a few for this trainer and he will be well aware of what this horse is capable of. No odds up just yet, but reckon we should get a nice price on this one.

Taking a bit of a stab at I Have Dreamed in the 3:20 Stratford

Has been off the track for nearly 2 years, but was still on an upward curve at the time, and on his last run back then accounted for Al Co off level weights, with 8L back to the rest of the field.
If retaining enough of his old form 10/1 could be made look a huge price.

Might have a bet on glens melody in auteuil, could go off at a price on the pmu

It's also worth noting that Wilshire Boulevard is running in the German 2,000 Guineas for new connections, might be worth a look.

    Gonna do a 2 e/w treble on: Enchanted Garden in the 15.30 @ 7/2
    Roosey in the 14.10 @ 5/2
    Area Access in the 15.50 @ 7/2
Be nice if it comes up

Would anyone be taking one last chance on Seal Rock with the drop back in trip? Showed a nice bit of speed last time out.

Dance With Another is an interesting one for me at 12s, back on good ground after 3 poor efforts on soft. Surely can make dog's meat of this mark if he can reproduce his two year old(and good ground) form.

That was horrible to see. Anyone see the faller in the maiden hurdle at Limerick. Could see it twitching on the ground it's leg at an awful angle

He never saw the fence :( . Jockey laid a comforting hand on it as it laid on the ground in a awful state.

Was that just a terrible ride on Lily's Prince or did it look like the jockey had a tug when he was making a move under no pressure

He's the best commentator in Ireland by far, although he did get a bit carried away with that call! Turned out to be a good one!

Sad to see long run on such a downward spiral.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,898 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Had to work for it, and responded so well to win with ease.

Great first run of the season for Leading Light, could dominate the cups this year for O Brien
