Galway, park for free on a Sunday?

Will be in the city all day tomorrow, round by the Claddagh, is there on street parking for free anywhere round there? I was hoping to avoid the car parks as I'll end up spending the best part of €15

The whole claddagh road, along by the "swamp" and then all along the prom is all free on street parking.

Car park beside Mill Street Garda station is handy. Near town and near Claddagh. Free Sunday.

On Sunday all on Street parking is free except for beside the docks.

One thing a lot of people don't know is the pay and display spaces in college are free at weekends and after half 5 on weekdays.
