Lumia 800 apn settings

I can't seem to get the internet to work on my lumia 800. Just switched to tesco mobile and am getting 503 errors on about 30% of webpages I try and load. If I refresh a few times it will work. I can't seem to get the internet to work on my lumia 800. Just switched to tesco mobile and am getting 503 errors on about 30% of webpages I try and load. If I refresh a few times it will work.

Tesco said I should put the following apn settings in:

APN: tescomobile.liffeytelecom.com
Username: (leave this blank)
Password: (leave this blank)
Proxy Server: (leave this blank)
Port: 8080

However it won't let me input a anything in the port field without something in the Server field. I've tried a factory reset and leaving all the fields blank ans using the network setup app choose tesco mobile but still have the same problems.
