Overflow pipe- linked to kitchen tap ?

    Unusual one here.... why would an over flow pipe run when a power hose is attached to a kitchen tap ?

    Overflow pipe from the attic that is ....

    Are you turning on both hot and cold at the same time? If so the mains is filling the tank via the hot pipe work and over flowing

    Its feeder tap so that is probably whsbis happening it makes sence anyhow. I wasn't using it so will check and revert back.. thanks for your help..
