Well it's certainly not a Rock bar anyway. You won't hear anything even remotely heavy. It's a one night a week event operated by a promotions company in what is essentially a regular run-of-the-mill pub who's modus operandi is to serve cheap pints to the average Joe while the DJ plays middle-of-the-road, inoffensive commercial "Rock" to average Joe's who might know the odd AC/DC song from the radio. If that's what you want then fair enough.

If you really care about Rock/Metal then avoid places like this, the type that just pop up once a week and call it a 'Rock' night, just to get Rock fans through the door and make money from them, any other night of the week if you ask for ACDC, Slipknot or Slayer you'll be laughed outta there.

Go to the likes of Gypsy Rose, Fibbers, Bruxelles, places that are Rock 7 DAYS A WEEK. If we don't support these places then they WILL close then we'd be moaning quick enough

It gets quite crowded there too in Club Hell. Place is always packed on Saturdays.

They offer stupid drink promo's, so every chav and his uncle end up in there, if i was on the door i'd knock 'em back, saying it's a rock bar (and yes, i used to do that regularly..."Nope, Rock night tonight, come back at the weekend")

Club hell is fine, it does what it says on the tin, cheap pints , good music, yes they do play some heavy stuff , but no ****e super hardcore post grunge death metal, there's also a lack of opinionated metal heads which is always welcome.

If you want to go with a few friends, get wasted on a score and listen to hard rock then you'l have a great time.

If you want to listen to some muppet on a bar stool tell how how much more metal he is and want to spend over e5 on a crap pint of Heineken then Bruxelles will do you.

Like the smell of piss? Well then go fibbers

Want to pretend your a biker? Go to gypsy rose
