Chain advice

Replaced a ten speed Shimano chain with a Sram around the middle of march.
It snapped two weeks ago so dropped it into LBS who put a power link on it as they reckoned it had plenty of life left in it.
Cleaned the bike last weekend and checked the chain again and all was well
Checked it last night and its stretched again after only two months
I replaced the cassette in March as well as the chain and its well cleaned and lubed
Am I right to think it’s the worn teeth on the crank set that’s causing it to go so soon?
I try not to cross chain and use trim when needed

    Thanks in advance
