Whats the difference between a Survey Type Two/Level 2 and Survey Type Three/Level 3?

    Hello

    I would be grateful if somebody could explain the difference between a "Survey Type Two/Level 2 Survey" and a "Survey Type Three/Level 3 Survey"

    I approached two building surveyors in relation to carrying out a building survey of a property I am considering purchasing. The first building surveyor said that he will carry out a "Survey Type Two/Level 2 Survey” whereas the second building surveyor said that he will carry out a "Survey Type Three/Level 3 Survey"

    Does anyone know what the difference is between these surveys and what each entails?
