Bizzare story from Waterford last night it seems.

Why attack the house of a Garda Superintendent?

Well it's been reported that the guys involved were linked to someone arrested that day which would suggest they knew whose house it was.

Looks that way. The timing of the whole thing is a bit unfortunate - the position of the Superintendent reminds me a bit of Mark in A Film With Me In It.

How many bottles were thrown? Were any of the bottles thrown from the grassy knoll? If there wasn't a grass knoll why wasn't there/ Did the Gardai remove it before GSOC came?

No, but I've heard that the Superintendent orchestrated the attack on his house himself in order to strike fear into the community and thus rule it himself with an iron fist and a whole host of anti-privacy laws.

Word on the street is they knew well who's house they were attacking.
Its related to a scumbag getting arrested attacking a property with a hatchet a few nights ago.

The dopey cúnts thought they would get some "payback" or something along those lines.
