It wasn't an attack on a Garda Superintendent.

The article says that the home of a Garda Superindendant was attacked, the Garda Superintendent was hit on the back of the head with a bottle. Sounds a bit like an attack on a Garda Superintenent.

It wasn't an attack on a Garda Superintendent.

Do you mean by that that that it was a Superintendent was purely coincidental?

Also if I've used 'that' three times in a row correctly do I win a car?

I hate links from the Journal because of their stupid forced app download.

Only if you can explain the need for the third, "that".

Sounds like kids ****ing about throwing bottles at a house (not sure if they knew who lived there)

Guard went out to see what was happening.

He gets hit with a bottle.

    Chases kids.

One falls over and dies from injuries.

    Was there not 3 arrested?

Well it's been reported that the guys involved were linked to someone arrested that day which would suggest they knew whose house it was.

Maybe the SuperNintendo can ask Dr O'Flaherty to reconsider the status of the dead one.

Looks that way. The timing of the whole thing is a bit unfortunate - the position of the Superintendent reminds me a bit of Mark in A Film With Me In It. :o

Don't let logic get in the way of the inevitable conspiracy theories about how someone doing a runner from a guard's house doesn't ever "accidentally" turn up dead :pac:

Not much point. The scumbag is definetly dead.

How many bottles were thrown? Were any of the bottles thrown from the grassy knoll? If there wasn't a grass knoll why wasn't there/ Did the Gardai remove it before GSOC came?

    frightening

No, but I've heard that the Superintendent orchestrated the attack on his house himself in order to strike fear into the community and thus rule it himself with an iron fist and a whole host of anti-privacy laws.

He would've gotten away with it too, if t'warn't for them there Duke boys.

Why attack the house of a Garda Superintendent?

    Because thick, I'd say.

    Do you mean by that

    Question.
    that

    Eh...
that it was a Superintendent was purely coincidental?

    Yeah

Also, I may have stumbles upon the most awesome wikipedia page ever in my quest to explain myself.

That that is is that that is not is not is that it it is

Word on the street is they knew well who's house they were attacking.
Its related to a scumbag getting arrested attacking a property with a hatchet a few nights ago.

The dopey cúnts thought they would get some "payback" or something along those lines.

    No sympathy from me.

One less scummy young lad in Ireland .Positive result i would say .Same as the drug dealers wiping themselves out .The Garda must be having a right laugh lol.

Of course they knew whose house it was.

Young lads up to no good thinking they're great in front of their friends throwing bottles at a Garda SI's house late at night.

dunno i'm happy with gloating like that.
bad thing to do ,granted - but hardly a worthy of a death sentence throwing stuff at a house.

we've no evidence he hit the garda.

I just don't get the gloating at the death of a young man.

As arrests have been made, we'll have to close this. Sub-judice and all that.
