    thinking of buying some ram for my iMac

    late 09 21.5 ' model

    Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
    Processor Speed: 3.06 GHz

    will this ram on adverts work in my machine

    Have you tried Crucial, OP? You can put your iMac model in here and it'll tell you what components are suitable for that particular model so you know exactly what you're buying and what's compatible.

    will this ram on adverts work in my machine

    €79.19 ex delivery for the same RAM from reputable Crucial and it will work or €75 from a generic guy who is unsure. I know who I'd get RAM from in this case.

    That Ram linked won't work, it wont even fit the mac.

    iMacs take SODIMM chips. The Ram advertised is Desktop RAM or just DIMM.

    Stick with Crucial in this case.
