Hi all, is there any facility to find a breeders name and contact number from his animals tag numbers? I bought a bunch of ewe lambs last autumn from a lad, who in turn had bought them in Blessington. They worked out very well for me, and I wouldn't mind getting more of the same breeding. Thanks.

Is the breeder in a particular breed society? Maybe the mart would have a record and would pass on your details?

Chance putting first 9 digits into sheep ireland search, if by some fluke they have pedigrees and record them the details will come up. Other than that ask the mart if they would help

Simply no, Dept only give out details of flock num to the guards.
Not sure if you could get it off sheep ireland or not.
or you could post the flock number here and let us work our magic ;)

What type of sheep were they?
