Any other Honda HR-V owners in here?

Wondering if there are any other Honda HR-V owners in here. Or is it a rare breed?

I'm looking for suggestions on finding used parts.

Moved back to Ireland in January, bought a 2003 Honda HR-V. Seemed to be running well until 2-3 weeks ago the the air-conditioning belt snapped. Of course there was an underlying problem that caused that - the crankshaft pulley failed. Mechanic tried to source a used part, found a part from a Honda Civic 1.6L but not the same, then from another Honda HR-V but not the same either.

A used part sells for about €50 whereas a new one from Honda will cost €450. I've tried calling salvage yards, using online searches but no luck so far. The only one I could find although from a Honda HR-V was from a different year and didn't fit. Unfortunately there is no part number to refer to.

So any Honda HR-V owners out there who have gone through the same process to locate other parts? Is there a hidden nest of HR-Vs lurking in a salvage yard that I haven't found?

I don't see many of these cars on the road. Were they maybe marketed as a yummy mummy car?

I had a look in rexbo.eu and all they have is a deflection pulley.

There's a good few of these being broken on Adverts. Have you tried a search there?

Last time i was in Kilcock scrap yard there was at least 3-4 being broke, im going there on Saturday what engine is it, a D16?

Tail Docker: yes, did try searching there. Found one Honda HR-V for breaking in Roscommon. Owner wanted me to buy whole car and cart it away for EUR 150, didn't seem interested in pulling out and checking the crankshaft.

There's also one on there in Kilcock (OCG Spares), I asked them to check dimensions of pulley but they haven't gotten back to me, that was three days ago.

If you could have a look that would be great. Is Kilcock scrap yard the same as OCG Spares? I think I called them at one stage.

The engine code is D16W1.

This car part comes in at least three variations with a bore of 22mm, 24mm or 28mm. I need the one that has an internal bore of 28mm. It's a three-belt pulley wheel. Two photos attached below.

That confuses me. I put in my VIN to make sure I would come up with the correct part. It shows me 13810P2KJ01 but when I look that up on Amazon it's not the same as the existing part in my car. It shows one that has five holes along the edge of the pulley where mine has four. Also it seems to have a solid core. If that was the same part, I'd be better off getting it shipped from the US than buying it from the UK - $117.99 on Amazon vs £373.55 (€425.85) on Lings. Even with high shipping, it would still be cheaper.

I thought I was in luck when that one came up in a search. But they no longer have the crankshaft pulley. I checked with Donnie Comerford last week.
