Insure and Go travel Insurance

    Hi all

    Has anyone had any issues with Insure and Go. As they cover pre existing medical cases I had to phone them to arrange cover.

    While on the phone I realised I left my card in the car and said I'd ring back.

    After getting through I have tried unsuccessfully to pay quoting their reference number. They told me on 3 occasions they would phone back that they have problems with their system.

    Obviously, I should phone up and make a new booking at this stage, but if this is the level of customer service now what if we need to claim
    On our return.

    Has anyone had experience of claim and how efficient are they dealt with. Not that I'm expecting problems but will look to vhi if necessary. Not all companies will quote for pre existing conditions in my child.

    Hope you get it sorted, but I wouldn't bank on VHI for an efficient claim. I'm pretty sure nowadays with insurance market getting squeezed, they're all looking for excuses and reasons not to pay out. Took me 3 months to wrangle out a pre-approved claim out of VHI, and that was only thanks to an agent that helped me out through work...
