Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Scottish Student Loan Apllication

    Hi guys

I recently applied to go into the second year of a degree in Ayrshire, Scotland. I was just wondering if anyone would know if I'm entitled to apply for a student loan?

I sent the SAAS an email and they said they could not consider me because I would not be a 'home' student as you will not be ordinarily resident in Scotland on 1 August 2014.

I don't really get this because I do plan on living in Ayr (obviously) but I haven't sorted a place to live yet. Do I need to be residing in Scotland by the 1st of August?

Anyone who has any info, I'd appreciate it. Thanks
