I am after discovering that if you are disabled that you can claim a VAT refund on aids and appliances or items that help you carry out daily activities at home or work.
Last year I bought a three piece suite that contained a recliner chair that will put you into a standing position if needed. I would like to claim back the vat on this chair as I became disabled three years ago due to MS.
The only problem is that the suite was bought in DFS in Derry so I'm wondering will I still be able to claim the vat on it.
