    Folks
I'm on the mobile so I can't really post photos, but I just needed to share this. Check out the new Hyundai Genesis at the link below. It's simply amazing how much this car company has advanced in recent years.

Argh, link doesn't work for those of us in the North :-(

The side view looks like a BMW imo. The grille is horrendous and if it was on a more mainstream car people would be falling over themselves to say how much it makes them puke. The whole front looks stretched Volvo to me.

the inside is grand and to be fair that's where you spend your time.

I would have to agree that it is a fantastic looking car.
What segment is it aimed at and what pricing are we likely to see if it comes here

    Very America. Very vulgar.

It looks like a Mercedes and an Aston Martin (or possibly Ford) mixed together. Not in a bad way though.

I was about to say the same, still, it looks good for a hyundai.

$50k+ for the V8 in a country where a V8 Dodge Charger costs around $40k. Meanwhile back in Euroland it will probably be watered down and come with a manual 1.7D. The Yanks really are spoiled!

It's a mix of all the best design features of several premium brands inside and out - a bit over designed with nothing unique to itself. Looks desirable however!

Looks like the new Mazda6 and I like it!

Looks like an f10 5 series and the rear bumper is robbed from a e60. Very generic and boring imo. Same goes for al the new audis and BMWs. One master drawing slightly changed from manufacturer to manufacturer. Cars designed by accountants for accountants.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

it looks good for a hyundai.

That was about the nicest thing I could come up with too :)

It will probably do well in the US market. Our standards are a tad higher over here...

From looking through the pics, I'm getting:

    Grille from a new Volvo
    Rear 3/4's of an A7
    Boot of an XJ
Front wings from a Mazda 6

Works though! That is a pretty impressive looking car.

Looks to be a replacement for the XG/Grandeur, which we all know sold in massive volumes in Ireland. I think nearly every single one here was registered as the company car for the head of Hyundai Ireland, except one crazy fool who got one as a company car (that we more or less gave away, thankfully it was owned by his company rather than us).

Suspect this will have the same fate if it's ever sold in Ireland, unless it comes with a decent diesel engine - the 197ps 2.2 from the Santa Fe would probably be an OK option - works well in the Santa Fe.

That massive grille isn't great even though audi have similar,no logo to break it up.

Registration plate will sort that out! In a pretty ugly way.
