Can anybody help me by telling me how best to apply for the test, how many lessons and how much per lesson will is cost?

How much and where can i apply for the test?

Do you have the rigid already?

You need to get a learners permit before taking lessons:> http://www.ndls.ie/en/learner-permit/how-to-apply.html

Lessons would be €100 - €130 for each 2 hour lesson but cheaper if you got a block at the start. Amount you need depends on your driving and experience.

You will need to do the Rigid Licence first, Category C, so thats:

    Theory Test
    Medical
    Learner Permit
    Lessons
    Driving Test

Then apply for Artic Category CE Learner Permit
    Lessons
    Driving Test
    Full Artic Licence

Also you may have to do CPC if you indeed to drive for a living

Went to the NDLS centre to get my full category C licence and my category EC learner permit.
Could only get full licence, have to wait until the full licence arrives to go back in and apply for Learner Permit for EC, seems silly and it is only causing extra queues by making people go back again.
NDLS is a complete farce and a rip off! Rant over!

I've just got my Artic licence and I got a Kilkenny company called Ormonde School of motoring from Kilkenny and I would have nothing only praise for them ( I pasted first time ). They also do rigid lessons. Best if luck with whatever you decide to do. 🚚🚚

    Well done and congratulations.
What was the exact process from start to finish?
What is the cost breakdown and price of the lessons?

Well presuming you have your learner permit, I e-mailed Ormonde to get prices and I decided to go with a bulk package of 14 hrs lessons and the hire of there truck for the test at a price of €900 but as I got closer to the test I decided to get in an other 2hr lesson ( all lesson are for 2 hrs ) at a cost of €140, the test is also €120 and to add to your licence cost €35. As for tips honestly the best thing is to listen to Brian ( or whoever ur instructor is ) at time it's hard to listen to people telling u how to drive but did definatly paid off for me in the end. Never go to a lesson tired, they are intense 2 hrs
