How do I find out of I was caught speeding?

I've recently moved and haven't changed the address my car is registered to yet. I'll be doing it this week after my NCT. I think I may have gotten caught speeding a few weeks ago but I presume the notice would've went to my old address and I have no way of checking this out. Is there another way I could find out?

AFAIK you have 28 days to pay the fin, so it is in you interest to make sure you check out your previous address. Saying you cannot is a no no with the fines office. If you don't pay by the initial deadline, iirc, the fine doubles and after that its a court appearance. Get cracking would be my advice & hopefully there's no letter:).

Is there no the way to find out other than checking my old house?!

Ring the RSA in ballina, they would have a record of the penalty points.

Penalty points are only applied after you:
    1) Accept that an offence was committed and pay the fine; or
    2) are convicted of an offence in court.

If you are trying to find out if a Fixed Penalty Notice has been issued then the RSA won't be of any use to you.

You could try ringing the the Fixed Charge Processing Office at 1890 30 40 60 - they'd be better positioned to help.

Yup. Just did all that. Turns out the cops have 3 months to put the offence on the system but I was given an email address to change my address for the car registration so if I was caught I'll now get the letter.

    Thanks for everyone's help ☺

How does the summons get to him if they have the old address?
