Vaping and life insurance

Has anyone had dealings with brokers or insurance companies on the subject of vaping and life insurance i.e. any loadings for vaping vs tobacco smoking? I spoke with broker yesterday and he was of the opinion that a vaper would be considered a smoker (assuming the person quit the fags a year previous) for the purposes of insurance, I'm not sure I agree but acknowledge it could be a divisive issue given elements of uncertainty around vaping.

On investigation, it appears that different insurers have a different stances, see 1/3 of the way down this page:
