Galaxt MP7 Battery Contacts

Hi Guys, was asked to look at the MP7 by a friend who had his battery "malfunction" in the gun. The plastic around the contacts on both the battery and the trigger assembly are wrecked. The gearbox is still running. The fuse didn't blow.

Would anybody have contacts for this model that they are willing to part with? Or better still the whole trigger assembly :p One of those fiddly pieces I wish I hadn't pulled apart. What I'm looking for can be seen here. The forward piece that the battery sits in to.

    Thanks.

    Bump.

Failing this, can anyone suggest a mod that would allow for the use of a regular battery?

You can mod the gun to use a small 7.4v lipo, I have done the same mod to a vz61. It involves joining to wires and a battery connector in place of the old battery connection. Check on youtube there should be an instruction video on how to do it.

If replacement parts are not an option or you want to use a non-stock battery type, there are two options for the MP7 AEP that I'm aware of:

    1. - Solder +/- wire to the internal battery contact points or wires and run them through the front vents, then connect the plug type of your choice

    2. - Modify a Li-Po and here is a video of how to make one, it's for the TM MP7 AEP, however, the principles are similar and I've been in contact with this person via Youtube, he's helpful if you need advise: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxcpQ6E9pGc

Also, here is the thread when I was looking for options and advised by those who knew better than I:

    Hope this helps :)
