Hi, I was recently accepted onto the community healthcare with social studies course.
Would I be best off using a laptop for taking notes or will i be going with hand written notes?

Also when or how best can i go about applying for Back to Education Allowance? Should i apply straight away or wait until just before September when I'm starting the course.

Any other general tips and info would be greatly appreciated.

I did applied soc studies n just took notes on a refill pad. Tbh it was the handiest way.

For one or two lessons I recorded some parts on my phone so I could listen back later. Didnt feel that I needed a laptop for anything other than assignments but if I go into 3rd level that might change.
