F4WOnline.com is reporting that Mickie James and Rikishi have been two names rumoured for induction into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2015. The other name reported has been The Rock, who is slated to headline that class

The Rock yes but Mickie James and Rikishi

I think Mickie James deserves it, she was the face of divas division after Trish-Lita era.

Ah I like Rikishi, was one of my favourites and he was extremely popular for a year or so. Also love his moveset. People might say he didn't have longevity but people certainly remember him and he got a great reception when he came back in 2012.

I wouldn't consider Mickie Hall of Fame-worthy (I know, I know, look at who is in there already). To me she would be at a level of Victoria or Beth Phoenix: great workers who were entertaining, but not quite having the star power of a Trish or Lita.

I would rate Molly Holly, Victoria, Ivory, Jazz and Beth way above Mickie James hell even Melina would be higher than her for me

    Chyna really should go in

if ever there was a time to induct Chyna, it was WM XXX

Seems perfectly okay to not induct Chyna imo, Hall of Fame is a pretty fluid title but "people the industry are proud of for some reason or another" seems like a fair qualification. Throw in the stuff with HHH and it'd be a bit insane to remind people of their ties with her.

It might happen in 20 years or something, but otherwise I can't see it, quote me on that.

...I know Sunny's in it, but I'd even say she had more going for her than Chyna, charisma or something. I feel like Chyna could've been substituted with someone else easily enough.

If you're inducting Rikishi, it should be as part of Too Cool.

Talking about women going in, do you think Miss Elizabeth should get a place?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,143 ✭✭✭ciano316

Rikishi should be inducted 100%... He was in the WWE for 13 years (Headshrinkers, fatu, The Sultan then Rikishi)

    Tag champ and intercontinental champ.

Mickie James another easy induction... 5 time Womens Champion, only person with more reigns than her is Trish.

    Is she not already in?

No and I don't think WWE would be in a rush to dredge up how she died - an OD from mix of painkillers and vodka. I think her death is still an acute sore spot for WWE given her on screen whiter than white persona and with the real life aspect as this diminutive, pretty woman being a causality of the drug culture of the Wrestling scene.

I think Vince McMahon was besotted by her and the image WWF created and ended up pretty hurt by her loss. So much so WWF immediately leaped on the idea Lex Luger killed her or was involved in some sort of manslaughter situation as surely Elizabeth wouldn't be indulging in such behaviour.

That is a shame, be good is she went in same year as Savage

    I know what you're saying.

She didn't have the same image in WCW, did she?

I she deserves the place. If they kept out everyone who has had problems in the past or died seemingly due to drug related issues, the HoF would have a lot less entrants.

And it's not like they'll be talking about her death, at least not in detail. And sure didn't they have a video package for her when she died?

I believe they did but I mainly just remember the WWE Confidential piece were they replayed Lex Luger's 911 call.

I would certainly like to see Rikishi go in to the hall of fame. Reckon there is a place for workers who may not have been featured in the main event too many times, but have performed their roles for their promotions. People like Koko Beware and Rikishi might not have drawn a huge amount of fans to the arena, but while the fans were there they put a lot of smiles on a lot of faces.

The main event stars are propped up by people like Rikishi and it is important that some of these guys get recognised too.

Happy to see Mickie James go in too. Until AJ Lee came along Mickie did the best pyscho diva routine around, and was one of the best female wrestlers of her generation of Divas.

That said I'd much rather see Jacqueline Moore go in ahead of her, the first Women's champ after WWF reactivated the title in the Attitude era, the promotion's first African American (I think) women's champ. A talented wrestler, and foxy woman.

Taught Rock would have got in a WM30. Hopefully next year. Is Rick Rude in there?

No, but he's certainly deserving of it.

    So is Rikishi imo.

Hope Magnus can't attend Mickie James's Hall of Fame induction but Luke Hudson can.

Seems unlikely if the Rock goes in this year, but Undertaker? He just lost the streak. Seems like an admission that his career is over, if wrestling once a year wasn't a tell tale sign already.
