mobile home renovation ideas

Hi, I am thinking of renovating my 2 bedroom mobile home. It is 36ft X 12ft. It has all of the original fixtures and fittings. We mainly stay in the mobile over the summer periods, with the odd winter stay for family gatherings and such. We were thinking about putting in more insulation (if this is possible) and taking out factory fittings like sofas and wardrobes, we were planning to replace them with standard stand alone furniture. does mobile floors allow for the weight of these furnishings or not??
I was wondering if anyone has done such a job?? does it make a big difference?? also I was wondering if anyone has re-covered their mobile roof?? if so what with?? we would like to put maybe grass roof or something not as noisy as metal we currently have. the roof is a flat roof. also we would like to install a wood burner and possibly run 3 radiators off it. is this an easy job for the professionals to do or is it a big job?? we currently have gas fire in living room section. and finally we would like to replace the windows with double glazed windows. i know you are probably thinking why don't we get a new mobile, but in short we have had this mobile years and would like to just spend time giving it new life as and when money is available. it won't be a quick fix but i am looking at the bigger picture :-)

Hi, would be really interested in something similar in our mobile home, new floors, furniture, cooker, fridge, internal doors, insulation etc... Is there anyone out there who specialises in this kind of remodeling of mobile homes?

As ye know the older mobiles have only basic insulation and single glaze windows with no central heating.
The new ones are expensive though.
I would contact the mobile home sellers as they may know of a handyman (handyperson!) that might be in that trade?
Or even some sites that have mobiles in them would know of someone surely?
