BTEA to JB to Jobbridge

    Just wondering if anyone has been in this situation before and what you did.
    I am currently on BTEA and I am finishing college with my qualification on the 15th, I have also been offered an Internship, which is great and I would love to do it, however I have 7 days left on my jobseekers benefit(which will run out on the 24th). I will have to be means tested then for jobseekers allowance which will be under my mother because I am under 25, which also in turn wont allow me to do this internship as I would have to get a babysitter for my daughter which I couldn't afford. Also I will be moving in with my partner once I finish college and again if I am means tested under him I wont be entitled to much if anything as he has a good wage. My social welfare have said I need to get taken on around the 19th, in order to stay on my jobseekers benefit rate.
    So all in all, I am wondering whether anyone has been in this situation and what they did?

    Also I should mention, the employer said it had to be 2 weeks she thought after I accept the internship to start.
    Any advice appreciated.
